Dr. David Hornung performs all phases of general and cosmetic dentistry. When you want to enhance your smile Dr. David combines his skills with extraordinary artistry to give you the smile you want. He is passionate about keeping up with the latest advances in dentistry and strives for patient satisfaction and comfort. To stay on top of his field, Dr. David attends post-graduate dental continuing education yearly and is trained in Invisalign. David is a Boston native and a fourth generation dentist. He lives in Boston with his wife, who is also his business partner, their baby, Dawson, and their miniature poodle, Carabelli.
Dr. Daria Hornung
Dr. Daria Hornung, a proud Tufts Dental alumna, is a compassionate dentist who always provides the highest quality dental care to all patients. She has exceptional clinical skills and passion for esthetics. Dr. Daria is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society. She continuously broadens her dental education by keeping up to date with the latest treatment techniques and research by participating in advanced continuing education courses.
Dr. Daria was born in Ukraine and raised in San Francisco, California. She settled in Boston after marrying her dental school sweetheart. She loves animals, warm weather, traveling and big cities. Dr. Daria spends most of her time raising their adorable son, Dawson, born October of 2016.
Dr. David Leader
Dr David Leader is an Associate Professor at Tufts Dental School in Boston, and is the Chairman of the Council on Dental Benefit Programs of the Massachusetts Dental Society. In 2013, the Massachusetts Dental Society named Dr Leader as one of their Volunteer Heroes. The Scleroderma Foundation named Dr Leader their 2008 Doctor of the Year. Dr. Leader is married and is a father of three.
Dr. Hubert Park (Pediatric Dentist)
Dr. Park received his dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Park started a free dental clinic at Sharewood Clinic in Malden which to date continues to provide dental services to the community. He also volunteered for several mission trips, providing dental care to the underserved populations in Kenya, the Dominican Republic, Bolivia, and Zambia.
After dental school, Dr. Park completed a General Practice Residency at the New York Presbyterian Hospital - Weill Cornell Medical College. He then returned to Tufts University and completed his residency in Pediatric Dentistry where he served as the Chief Resident. Dr. Park also received a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Tufts University School of Medicine with a focus on infant and toddler nutritional imbalances and racial disparities in oral health. He currently chairs the Massachusetts Dental Society's ad-hoc committee for special needs patients and is a member of the Massachusetts Department of Public Helath's Perinatal Oral Health Task Force. Dr. Park is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Massachusetts Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. In his spare time, he enjoys running, hiking, and playing basketball.
Dr. Tae Kwon (Periodontist)
Dr. Kwon was born and raised in South Korea before moving to Toronto, Canada after high school. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto and his Master of Medical Science degree and Periodontology certificate from the Harvard University School of Dental Medicine, earning numerous awards and scholarships in the process.
Dr. Kwon is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology (Board Certified). Dr. Kwon is actively involved in teaching continuing education courses to other dentists on dental implant therapy, periodontal therapy, advanced bone grafting techniques, and minimally invasive gum grafting techniques. He has also served as a part-time clinical instructor at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and lectures at the Tufts School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Kwon has served as an ad-hoc reviewer and editorial board member of the academic journal Quintessence International and a reviewer for the British Dental Journal and Oral Health and Dental Management. He is also the author of many articles in peer-reviewed dental journals.
Aside from his passion for dentistry, Dr. Kwon is happily married to his wife Jihae, with whom he has a lovely daughter, Hailey and a lovely son, Evan. He is a big fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and also loves, skiing, fishing, running.
